It is driven through the Executive Board which is accountable for performance to Plant Operational Teams, and all employees within the company.
Our commitment is to protect the health and safety of our employees, the community in which we operate and the users of our products. We aim to meet, and where practicable exceed, all relevant legislative requirements - minimising the impact of our operations on the environment.
Our goal is zero injuries. This, we believe, should be accomplished by maintaining a positive safety mindset and culture, in which all workplace accidents are preventable. We will continually evaluate and improve our working methods and production processes to ensure we achieve our objectives.
We are currently working towards accreditation to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System BS OHSAS 18001.
